The Humane Society of Central Oregon will host its Tuxes & Tails fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. June 15 at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes convention center.

The 1970s-themed event will include dinner, wine, live and silent auctions, a dessert dash and dancing to live bell-bottom rock music.

Funding from the event helps connect people with new pets, provides medical care and shelter, keeps people and pets together and rescues animals from cruelty and neglect.

Registration can be completed online at the Humane Society’s website. Individual tickets are $135; a table of eight is $1,080, while a table of 10 is $1,350.
