OSU-Cascades to host research symposium May 22

Oregon State University-Cascades will host a research symposium from 4 to 7 p.m. May 22 in the Charles McGrath Family Atrium in Edward J. Ray Hall. More than 80 undergraduate students from 12 different programs will exhibit and discuss their research projects.

Several students received fellowships from OSU-Cascades to pursue their research. Students will present five-minute lightning talks to discuss their projects or read their critical or creative writing, in addition to research posters.

Students in art and humanities, biological sciences, health sciences and social sciences will present in the first half of the event. Students in computer science, engineering, environmental sciences and natural resources will also present.

The event is free to the public. Light refreshments will be available and parking is free on campus after 3 p.m.
