Kate Donegan was named Monday as the upcoming principal for Ensworth Elementary School in Bend. She will start July 1.

Dana Pedersen, the current principal, is resigning to relocate. Donegan is currently the principal of Trillium Creek Primary School in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, a position she has held since 2019. 

Previously, Donegan was the instructional coordinator at Trillium Creek. She has 15 years of teaching experience.

Additionally, Dennis Foster Jr. will replace Jessica Gambee as the assistant principal at Pilot Butte Middle School. Gambee will become principal. Foster is currently the assistant principal at Cheldelin Middle School in Corvallis. He will begin July 1.
