Debris burning in areas served by Bend Fire & Rescue and the Deschutes Rural Fire Protection District will close on Friday, May 31. Staring Saturday, June 1, debris burning will be prohibited for the duration of the fire season.

Debris burning within Bend city limits is prohibited year-round, while recreational fires, campfires, warming fires and cooking fires are still permitted. However, any and all fire types can be prohibited if weather or hazard conditions cause extreme wildfire conditions.
