- Women's clothing store FP Movement is expected to move into the Old Mill District, at 330 SW Powerhouse Dr., Suite 120, in early July.
Business name: FP Movement
Address: 330 SW Powerhouse Dr., Suite 120
Expected opening: Early July
Details: The activewear brand is expected to open its new space in the Old Mill District in Bend by early July, according to a June 3 press release.
FP Movement was established in 2012 as a category of clothing brand Free People. It has since emerged as an independent brand and opened its first standalone storefront in Los Angeles in 2020. Today, it has 37 stores nationwide. The store will carry an assortment of leggings, bras, tanks, onesies and sets as well as clean beauty and wellness items.
“Their pieces are just as comfortable at Lady Bird or 900 Wall as they are on the river trail or at Orangetheory,” Old Mill District marketing director Beau Eastes said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to have their only Oregon store outside of the Portland area.”
The company joins other athleisure brands Lululemon and Athleta in the Old Mill District. A sign on its door says the company is hiring for the new location.
Children’s store Wild Child used to be in the space, between Evoke Winery and Avalon Salon & Spa, and moved to another space in the retail area in March, Eastes said. Before that, electronics store Simply Mac was in the space until permanently closing in June of 2022.
The Old Mill District is located on 270 acres that formerly housed one of the largest sawmill operations in the world from 1916 to 1983. It was restored in the early 1990s.
