Gail D. Carbiener Jr., of Bend, will celebrate his 90th birthday on June 26, 2024, in La Pine with family.

Mr. Carbiener was born June 26, 1934, in California.

He married Muriel Carbiener. He has three children, Terrie Peets of Markleeville, California, and husband David; Cathy Williams of La Pine, and husband Mike; and David Carbiener of McKinleville, California, and wife Charmaine. He has 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Carbiener worked as a banker, retiring in 1994. He served in the Army and is a member of the High Desert Museum and Oregon-California Trails Association. He volunteers every Thursday at the Bend Historical Society.

He has lived in Central Oregon since 1995.
