William Raymond Monk

February 18, 1939 – July 10, 2024

Bill Monk passed away July 10, 2024 at 85 years old. He will be missed by many as Bill was quite the character and had many close, life-long friends and family.

Bill was born in Texas February 18, 1939 to Robert and Ruby. Bill was a gifted athlete most of his life. He was a boxing champion, loved golf and was a skilled football player in both High School and College. He attended Oregon State University to play football for his beloved Beavers, where he met his wife of 60 years, Karen Morlan. They lived in Washington and Oregon where Bill worked in Sales and Marketing for Blitz-Weinhard, which began his career working in the beer and liquor industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Bill is survived by his wife, Karen, his children Tanya and Sean, brothers Michael and David , son-in-law Dustin and grandchildren Sophie and Luke.

His final months were made comfortable and we thank the Hospice Angels. A celebration of life is planned for August 24th.
