Bend Venture Conference set for Oct. 17-18

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Bend Venture Conference to be held Oct. 17 to 18 at the Tower Theatre.
Registration will be discounted 10% and a free T-shirt given for those registering by Sept 30.
In its 21st year, the conference is the longest-standing and largest angel investment conference in the Pacific Northwest, according to Economic Development for Central Oregon. Since it started, more than $14 million has been invested in companies participating in the conference.
Startup companies from around the country will pitch their business ideas. Awards will be issued in three categories: Growth Stage, Early Stage and the New Economy Track. To apply go to bendvc.com/apply.
The keynote speaker at the event will be Julie Sandler, co-founder and general partner at PSL Ventures and managing director at Pioneer Square Labs, the largest venture studio in the Pacific Northwest.
