Peggy Marie Hunt
June 22, 1949 – August 8, 2024
Peggy Marie Pollock was born to James “Bud” and Verneita “Nita” Pollock. She loved growing up in Redmond and could be found “dragging the gut” in her shiny green Camaro or flagging for her father’s road construction company, Babler Brothers. She was no stranger to mischief, as one of her favorite things to do was hang out with her many friends throwing Caterpillar yellow paint off the Crooked River High Bridge. In 1970, Peggy married Bend-native Jerry Hunt at the Powell Butte Christian Church. Jerry and Peggy built a life together in Bend, where they welcomed two sons, Jeff and Robb. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laugh is loved and missed by her husband, sons, grandchildren, nephews, and great nephews.
