One of my favorite songs in recent years is “There Goes My Mind” by Logan Ledger, a sun-dappled slice of baroque country-pop that sounds like it was rescued from a jukebox that broke down in the ’70s. Fans of Joshua Hedley or Charley Crockett would dig this dude.

And Jeremy Pinnell is a terrific singer-songwriter from Northern Kentucky who sings about the triumphs and the trials of life — mostly the trials — and plays a bluesy, outlaw-inspired brand of country music.

Think Waylon Jennings for the 21st century and you’re in the right honky tonk.
