Ben Rice will bring his band The PDX Hustle to The Belfry in Sisters Friday night.

There’s a new batch of shows up at belfryevents.com, the online home of Sisters concert venue The Belfry.

A Halloween party with Oregon bluesman David Jacobs-Strain on Oct. 26. Legendary mandolinist John Reischman and his Jaybirds on Nov. 1. Country-soul band Jeff Miller & The Congregation on Nov. 3. Indie-folk faves Rainbow Girls on Nov. 8 and Americana group Lonesome Ace Stringband on Nov. 9.

But first, it’s time for blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll with Ben Rice & The PDX Hustle. Rice is a guy with a powerhouse voice, splendid guitar skills and prodigious swagger, and he’s backed by a six-piece band that is experienced at turning dance floors into sweaty, ecstatic scenes.

If you know the town of Sisters, you know there are plenty of people there who are interested in spending some time on a sweaty, ecstatic dance floor on a Friday night. Should be fun!
