Patricia Ann Johnson

January 19, 1939 – September 19, 2024

Patricia Ann Johnson, born January 19, 1939 in Oneonta, New York. She was raised in Tiffin, Ohio while her father served in World War II. The family eventually settled in Garden Grove, California where she met her future husband, David Johnson. They married June 13th, 1959. Their family, including daughter Tracy, son Hans and daughter Lydia moved to Bend, Oregon , where David taught High School Industrial Studies and Patricia served as a Teachers Aide and managed the Audio-Visual Equipment at Mt. View High School. She not only did her job well, she nurtured many teenage students, helping to keep them in school.

Both Patricia and David retired in 1998. She continued her involvement in her book club and also with the group of aides and secretaries she had worked with at Mt. View High School. She greatly enjoyed those monthly gatherings.

Patricia is survived by husband David, daughter Tracy Jones and husband Ray, son Hans Johnson and wife Cindy, daughter Lydia Mc Naughton and husband Brian, along with seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

A church service will be held on October 26th at 2pm, Trinity Episcopal Church, 469 NW Wall Street, Bend Oregon 97703. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering immediately following the service at The Bridges Club House, 20838 Sotra Loop, Bend, Oregon 97702.
