Christa Rohrbach, a Jefferson County Middles School teacher, was named one of 18 regional teachers of the year. Each regional winner earns $1,000 prize by the Oregon Lottery.

Black Butte Ranch Lodge, Juniper Mountain Counseling, Leading Edge Helihanger, Medline ReNewal, Shepherd’s House Ministries Redmond Center, Subaru of Bend, The Giving Plate, and Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon were sele ted by the Central Oregon Association of Realtors for the 2024 Building a Better Oregon Award.
