Collectors of trading cards, video games, comics and other items of the past will gather Saturday at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center for the fourth Central Oregon Cards & Collectibles Show this year.

This show will feature special celebrity guests, said show organizer Adrian Thompson: former New York Giants tight end and Super Bowl XLII winner Kevin Boss, and recent voice of Bowser, Kenneth W. James, will be signing autographs and doing meet-and-greets.

One hundred tables will be split between 60 vendors selling collector items, like sports cards, memorabilia, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, Lorcana, video games, comics, Funko Pops, LEGOs and customer artwork. There will also be trading tables available for attendees to make deals and trade their items with others.

“People can come for nostalgia and to look at things of the past or to buy items and add to their collections,” Thompson said.

Attendees can enter a Super Smash Bros. competition and compete in a Super Mario speed run and play old video games with their friends. A variety of prizes are also up for grabs through a raffle.

Thompson said this is the second big show of the year along with the first one in April. There were two smaller shows this year as well.

It’s a family-friendly event. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Admission is $10. Ages 16 and under get in free.
