Here are the candidates for The Bulletin’s Athletes of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 2 as nominated by local coaches and The Bulletin sports staff.

Girls
Emily Picard, Madras cross-country: With a time of 18 minutes, 49.90 seconds at the Tri-Valley Conference Championships at McIver State Park near Estacada on Oct. 30, Picard was the first to cross the finish line to claim the conference title.
Ella Renner, Caldera soccer: The senior defender helped the Wolfpack secure their sixth shutout of Intermountain Conference play with a 2-0 win over Mountain View on Oct. 30. Renner also scored one of the two goals against the Cougars with a header off a corner kick.
Kayla Roskowski, Summit soccer: The sophomore midfielder scored the game-winning goal early in the second half to help the Storm win the IMC with their 2-0 victory over Bend High on Oct. 29.
Boys
Jack Foley, Mountain View football: In Mountain View’s 42-7 win over Bend High on Nov. 1, the senior wideout caught eight passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns to help the Cougars finish the regular season undefeated for the second-straight year.
Danner Frost, Ridgeview football: In the Ravens’ 7-0 overtime win over Redmond on Nov. 1, the junior defensive end tallied four sacks and 12 tackles to help Ridgeview finish with a winning record in Intermountain Conference play.
Gabe Lachman, Summit soccer: Lachman scored three goals in the Storm’s 6-0 win over Bend High on Oct. 30 to help Summit win its 10th straight match and finish undefeated in IMC play.
