Paint fall leaves you’ve collected throughout the season, buy art from High Desert artists or design a glass piece during open studio time.

Fall Leaves Craft

Learn to paint fall leaves using watercolors with artist Lee Kellogg. Gather up fall leaves and paint a few in this class. Kellogg will show attendees how to create lush fall colors and bring the leaves on the paper to life. All skill levels welcome. Space and materials are limited. Registration is required.

Kellogg has worked as adult education coordinator at the Audubon Society of Portland and owns a retail business focused on art and craft.

Galleries are open during the day and the featured artists’ receptions generally take place between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

COMAG is a diverse group of metal artists representing a wide range of styles and techniques, according to its website.

Glass Open Studio

If you have taken a glass class at DIYcave, you are welcome to use DIYcave’s glass studio for an open session. Come back and use studio tools to practice what you learned, make something new or a gift for family and friends, and spend time with other crafters.

Instructors will not teach techniques during open studio, but someone will be around if you have any questions or need assistance. It’s recommended attendees have basic knowledge and skills necessary to complete their project.

There will be access to tools and non-glass supplies including solder, copper foil, flux, patina and more. Affordable art glass and other materials available for purchase. Kiln firing is not included.

Ages 14 and older welcome. Minors may take this class if a parent or guardian is registered and attends the class with them.
