Editor’s desk: The newsroom is getting ready for Thanksgiving

Published 3:01 pm Friday, November 22, 2024

Like most of you, I’ll be prepping this weekend for Thanksgiving — groceries to gather, veggies to chop, pie crusts to make (you’ve already started defrosting your turkey in the fridge, right?).

As the holiday approaches, we want to share an update about The Bulletin’s plans for the week. Because there will be no mail delivery on Thanksgiving Day, we’ll be putting out a combined Wednesday-Thursday edition, a single issue of the newspaper that will arrive on Wednesday, November 27. For our digital readers, that means the e-edition will be published Wednesday morning, and all of our coverage will be available at bendbulletin.com

This combined issue will include everything you’ve come to expect from us: the latest news from Central Oregon and beyond, thoughtful reporting, and the features that help you plan your week. Wednesday and Thursday comics, crosswords and other puzzles will be packed into one issue, along with sports, editorials and the GO! entertainment magazine you usually receive on Thursday. In addition, it’s designed to carry you through the holiday weekend with:

  • Black Friday shopping information
  • Additional puzzles and games
  • The Holiday Gift Guide
  • A Health and Wellness guide

We’ll continue to provide real-time updates and stories online at bendbulletin.com, where you can also access the e-edition. If you haven’t already, consider downloading our app, available in the Apple Store or Google Play.

If you have any questions about this change or need assistance accessing our digital content, please contact our customer service team at 541-385-5800 or support@eomediagroup.com.

Thank you for trusting The Bulletin to keep you informed. We wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
