It’s becoming an excellent annual tradition ‘round these parts: A benefit show at the Domino Room in early December featuring the popular local band Fractal.

They call it the Holiday Benefit Jam and this is the third annual version, presented by Bend’s Zen Art Ink Studio and a bunch of other generous sponsors. This year, the beneficiary is the Deschutes Land Trust, a local nonproft organization that works to conserve and care for the lands and waters that sustain Central Oregon.

Fractal has played the Holiday Benefit Jam every year, and this time they’re coming off the release of their first EP “Into The Stratosphere,” which features six tracks and 48 minutes of the band’s high-energy, groove-centric blend of funk-rock jams and electronic music. This band is dance-floor euphoria come to life, and a sure bet to warm you up on a chilly Saturday night — for a good cause, no less!

Some of Fractal’s friends will sit in on their set, and Sonic Benders will open the show.
