Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity plans to reopen its Redmond ReStore in summer 2025, the organization announced Thursday.
The new facility, an 8,000-square-foot shopping and donation hub, will offer affordable, gently used furniture, appliances, home goods and building materials while supporting Habitat’s mission of providing affordable housing for local families. The home improvement store will be located at 2744 NW 7th St.
The original Redmond ReStore closed in 2020. The organization also has a ReStore facility in Bend.
Habitat CEO Carly Colgan highlighted the project’s community impact, noting its role in creating affordable homeownership opportunities and promoting sustainability.
“This reopening is about more than just a store,” Colgan said. “It’s a reflection of the community’s ongoing support.”
The ReStore will focus on reducing landfill waste through reused materials and will also serve as a hub for volunteers, donations, and partnerships. Proceeds from the store will help fund Habitat’s housing programs in Central Oregon.
Since its founding in 1989, Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity has helped over 225 families achieve affordable homeownership and revitalized 145 homes in Central Oregon.
