One of Central Oregon’s best music events — the annual 4 Peaks Music Festival — will have a significantly different look in 2025, according to organizers.

Most years since 2007, 4 Peaks has brought local, regional and nationally touring funk, rock, Americana and jam bands to a couple of different pastures near Bend. Headliners over the years have included Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Los Lobos, The Wood Brothers, moe., Mother Hips and more.

This year, however, organizers have not been able to obtain a mass gathering permit from Deschutes County for the 2025 festival because of “administrative delays and permitting constraints,” according to 4 Peaks founder Stacy Koff.

So Koff is pivoting: “4 Peaks is still planning a jam-packed 2025 Summer Solstice weekend event … June 20 through (June) 22, 2025,” she wrote in an email update. “Bend’s iconic Tower Theatre will host multiple nights of 4 Peaks shows this year.”
