COCC to host community meet-and-greets for presidential finalists

Central Oregon Community College is holding a series of events for community members to meet the three college president finalists through January and February.
Angela Tos currently serves as the vice president of student services at Coalinga College. Her Bend campus meet-and-greet will take place 5 to 6 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Boyle Education Center. The Prineville campus event will be 1:45 to 2:15 p.m., the Madras event will be 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. and the Redmond event will be 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., all on Jan 23.
Greg Pereira is the vice president for student affairs at Rio Salado College in Arizona. His Prineville campus meet-and-greet will be 1:45 to 2:15 p.m., the Madras event is 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. and the Redmond event is 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., all on Jan. 28. The Bend campus event will take place 5 to 6 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Boyle Education Center.
Steve Erickson is the vice president of institutional effectiveness and technology at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. His Bend event will take place 5 to 6 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Boyle Education Center. The Prineville campus event is 1:45 to 2:15 p.m., the Madras event is 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. and the Redmond event is 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., all on Feb. 7.
The COCC board anticipates naming a new president this spring. Laurie Chesley, the college’s sixth president, will retire this summer.
