Here are the candidates for The Bulletin’s Athletes of the Week for Jan. 13-18 as nominated by local coaches and The Bulletin sports staff.

Girls
Jade Durfee, Summit basketball: In Summit’s 47-32 win over Lake Oswego on Jan. 17, the sophomore point guard finished with nine points to help the Storm with its 11th game of the season.
Dania Correa, Culver basketball: In two games last week, the senior wing posted two double-digit scoring outings. In Culver’s 33-27 loss to Lost River on Jan. 14, Correa finished with 13 points. In the Bulldog’s 48-5 win over Oakridge, Correa finished with a team-high 16 points.
Dylan Cheney, Redmond basketball: Cheney broke the program record with eight 3-pointers in Redmond’s 67-47 win over La Grande on Jan. 18. The senior guard finished with 24 points, three rebounds and two steals in the win.
Ashlyn Carnes Dunn, Redmond swimming: At the White Buffalo Classic on Jan. 18, Carnes Dunn won all four of her races. She took first in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyles while also helping the 200 and 400 freestyle relays finish in first as the Redmond girls won the meet.
Boys
Miles Macomber, Caldera basketball: In the Wolfpack’s 78-76 win over West Linn on Jan. 17, the senior guard finished with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Macomber scored the team’s final nine points of the game, including the game-winner with 1.6 seconds left.
Billy Jackson, Redmond wrestling: The senior went undefeated in the 132-pound weight class during the Oregon Wrestling Classic Jan. 17-18, with one win coming against a defending state champion to help the Redmond boys finish third.
Matthew Suppah-Scott, Madras basketball: In two wins for the While Buffaloes last week, a 62-55 victory over Bend High on Jan. 14 and a 44-40 win over Stayton on Jan. 17, Suppah-Scott averaged 16 points, four rebounds and 1.5 steals.
Rowan Blossey, Summit basketball: In the Storm’s 66-57 win over Churchill on Jan. 17, the senior guard finished with a team-high 22 points, while making 13 of 15 free throws to help Summit extend its winning streak to three games.
