The city of Bend is accepting applications for three open positions on its Human Rights and Equity Commission. Applications are due by Feb. 28.

The commission advises the City Council on policies affecting equity, human rights and inclusion. Members work to identify barriers to equity and recommend ways to remove them.

New members will serve partial terms. Those interested can apply at bendoregon.gov/government/committees/apply.

The city offers a stipend of $40 per meeting, up to $500 per year, for voting members of advisory boards and commissions.
