Orville Chapman

Orville Lane Chapman, 95, passed away January 20, 2025, to meet his beloved wife Shirley in heaven.

He was born on September 27, 1929, in Eugene. He grew up on a farm in Santa Clara. Orville married Shirley Carleen Lynn on October 6, 1950 in a small intimate wedding at his family home. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage. Orville served in the Army from 1950-1952. After returning home he started farming in the Junction City area. Since 1978, he resided in Bend where he transitioned to being a general contractor until his retirement.

Orville is survived by his 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 92.

A memorial service will be held in Orville and Shirley’s honor on March 1st at 11am at Redmond Christian Church. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow. “Great is Thy Faithfulness”
