Temperatures in Central Oregon dipped well past frigid this week, with a low of -8 degrees recorded at the Bend Municipal Airport Wednesday morning.
A cold advisory issued by the National Weather Service was expected to lift by 7 a.m. Thursday, though, with a warming trend anticipated later in the week. Highs could reach the upper 30s in Bend by Saturday, according to the weather service. A chance of snow is expected each day through Saturday, turning to possible rain Saturday night.
