- The Lumineers bring the “World Tour” to Bend on August 13 and 14 with special guest Tom Odell.
The Lumineers will perform back-to-back performances on Aug. 13 and 14 at Hayden Homes Amphitheater with special guest Tom Odell, according to an announcement by the venue.
The Denver-based band, composed of Wesley Schultz on lead vocals and guitar and Jeremiah Fraites on drums, percussion and piano, has drawn acclaim for its alternative rock-driven narratives and Americana anthems, such as “Ho Hey,” “Ophelia” and “Stubborn Love.”
On Friday, the duo releases their fifth studio album, “Automatic,” with songs exploring new terrain while keeping the same Lumineers sound of soaring choruses and infectious melodies, according to a press release. The lead single, “Same Old Song,” is already available for streaming.
In the release, Fraites said the new album has “a palpable sense of connection between Wes and me. There’s lots of love on this record. I can’t wait to tour behind it.”
An online-only presale for the concerts starts 10 a.m. Feb. 20. General sale begins 10 a.m. Feb. 21 online or at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. Sign up for concert alerts to receive the presale code or purchase tickets at bendconcerts.com.
