COCC hosts high schoolers

Published 5:20 am Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Central Oregon Community College will host hundreds of high school students from across Oregon 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 11 for the college’s annual Preview Day event. Students will tour the campus, engage with COCC students and learn about educational pathways at the community college.

The event is organized into eight pathway groups, such as health sciences and public service. Class samplers offer students hands-on demonstrations that match their interests, including preparing a culinary dish and a biology lab experiment.

The preview day allows high school students to envision themselves in college and start thinking about what they want to do in the future.

Prospective participants can learn more at cocc.edu/previewday.
