Easter Sunday is around the corner and Central Oregon resorts, restaurants, breweries and food cart lots are gearing up to celebrate.
There’ll be prix fixe menus, Easter specials, egg hunts and more. Find a sampling of menu items and more details on upcoming festivities below.
Hawkeye and Huckleberry Lounge’s Easter Brunch
A special brunch service with a prix fixe menu will be held at Brian and James Malarkey’s modern cowboy restaurant, Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge. The three-course meal begins with a cowboy cinnamon roll glazed with whiskey caramel, followed by a second course with a choice of lobster and caviar deviled eggs, spring pea and ricotta tartine or braised pork belly and cornbread. For the third course, diners may choose from six options, which include grilled filet mignon with eggs, lemon poppy seed pancakes and wagyu burger. Find the full menu and make a reservation online.

On Tap is hosting a family-friendly Easter at its food truck lot, with an egg hunt for the little ones beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Bring a basket for the egg hunt and a camera to snap photos. Also on tap will be beignets by Bend-YAY, mimosas and other food truck brunch specials.

Tetherow’s Easter Brunch and egg hunts, Easter dinner to-go
Bourbon-glazed ham and coffee herb-crusted ribeye will be served at the carving stations at Tetherow’s Easter brunch, along with made-to-order crepes, mini pancakes and omelets. Three Easter egg hunts will be held, in addition to themed arts and crafts. An Easter dinner to go is also offered by the resort, with holiday favorites prepared and ready to reheat in oven-safe containers. Orders for the to-go dinner must be placed by noon on Monday and picked up between 9 a.m. and noon on April 20.

Riverhouse Lodge’s Easter Brunch Grand Buffet
Molasses-glazed smoked pit ham and peppercorn-rubbed tri-tip will be available at the carving stations at the Riverhouse Lodge’s Easter Brunch Grand Buffet, along with a chef-attended omelet station and a kid’s buffet. The younger set can participate in Easter egg hunts, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and noon and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Adults may partake in the mimosa and Bloody Mary bar for an upcharge and the Abluestics will play live music from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Easter brunch at Juniper Preserve’s new restaurant, Iris, is served à la carte, with mains such as a Maine Lobster Benedict ($34), chimichurri hanger steak and eggs ($34) and croque-madame, a turkey breast sandwich with gruere cheese and bechamel sauce with a sunny side-up egg ($18). Traditional buffet fare, a carving station, seafood display, and a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar will be included in Easter brunch at Sunriver Resort’s Lodge Kitchen. Each family with a brunch reservation will receive a complimentary family portrait. For an additional $10, kids may join the Easter egg hunts, which begin at 10:30 a.m. and are separated into four age groups. Sisters Bakery sourdough French toast with citrus-vanilla syrup, steak and eggs with chimichurri and rockfish and shrimp piccata are a few of the mains served for the Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters. General Duffy’s is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Party at the Annex on Saturday in Redmond. Festivities include an Easter egg hunt, photo booth, spring market with artisan goods and craft stations. The event is geared to children ages 10 and under, but all are welcome and guardians or older siblings may enter for free with admission. Each child may bring home a craft of their choice, a goodie bag and 10 filled eggs.
