What’s going up: Bend electrical contractor building new $6 million headquarters

Cost of the project: $6 million
Tomco Electric is building a new headquarters in northeast Bend. CEO Colby Thompson said in an email the new office will feature a warehouse, fitness center, prefabrication space, wash bay and secure and non-secure storage.
Thompson wrote that Tomco needed new headquarters to better serve the community and provide a proper workspace for its employees. “We had essentially severely outgrown our existing facility,” he said.
Tomco Electric is an electrical contractor in Bend that was established in 1973.
The new operations are expected to be completed by November 2025. Construction began in August 2024.
