The Bend Park and Recreation District has opened applications for the 2025-26 year of Kids Inc. after-school child care. Kids Inc. operates at every school except Westside Village Magnet at Kingston School and Amity Creek Magnet at Thompson School.

Next year, Kids Inc. will operate every day until 5:30 p.m. for kindergartners through fifth graders.

Applications must be received by May 16 at 5 p.m. to be included in the initial selection process. A lottery will be used to determine selection and waitlist status. Applicants will be notified by May 27 and have until June 9 to secure their spot with a first-month tuition deposit.

Applications can be submitted through the park district’s website or by phone.

Kids Inc. will also offer part-time care as well as full-time care. Part-time schedules are Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. They will be assigned as part of the lottery. Families selected for part-time spots have the opportunity to move to full-time spots as space becomes available.

The park district encourages families who have other child care options to consider enrichment and sports programs.
