The Oregon Department of State Lands recently launched an online claim service site that will allow residents to search for their lost money with ease.

The website will help residents claim money that has been lost — through misplaced checks, lost bank accounts, unclaimed refunds or unclaimed payroll checks.

The department reports that there is nearly $400 million of unclaimed money.
