Ray and Dorothy (Harbaugh) Dodge.

Ray and Dorothy (Harbaugh) Dodge, of La Pine, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Central Oregon coast and plan to celebrate with their family later in the year.

The couple were married Sept. 9, 1961 at United Methodist Church in Sweet Home. They have two children, Eric, of Madison, Ind., and Jason (and Jennifer) of Monterey, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Dodge has worked for more than 40 years in advertising as creative director and president of Dodge-Schmitgall Advertising. Mrs. Dodge worked for the United States Postal Service for 23 years in Lake Oswego and Lake Grove. She retired in 2006. Mr. Dodge is a fisherman and artist. He enjoys fish carving and is a founding member of the National Fish Carver’s Guild. Mrs. Dodge enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

They have lived in Central Oregon for four years.
