PORTLAND — Portland police say they have arrested at least 10 of an estimated 175 protesters who marched Monday night in what was billed as a demonstration to support Occupy Oakland.
Police say some demonstrators broke a glass door at a restaurant, threw garbage and vandalized several cars.
Lt. Robert King said those arrested are accused of disorderly conduct and interfering with officers. They included a 15-year-old boy.
The Oregonian reports that dozens of officers responded at the peak of the demonstration in southeast Portland.
Several protesters said they were upset about the damage caused by a small faction in the crowd.
