Barbara Leslie Erickson went peacefully to her heavenly home in the early morning hours of January 3, 2010.

A public Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, January 10, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.

Barbara was born November 6, 1941, in Great Falls, Montana, to parents, Harold and Pauline Seek. She was the 3rd born of their six children.

She moved as a young child to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she grew up and graduated from Bonaville High School.

Barbara was married to John W. Erickson on July 21, 1967. Together they raised their three sons, John, Bob, and Steve Erickson, and daughter, Lesley Patterson.

Barbara has called Bend, Oregon, her home for the past 42 years. She worked full time in the healthcare industry until the age of 64, when she retired from Central Oregon Radiology.

Barbara attended Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir for many years. She enjoyed serving in the church and loved her church family dearly. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and brought so much happiness, love and joy to those around her.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, John, Bob, and Steve Erickson, daughter, Lesley Patterson, mother, Pauline-Mason Seek, sister, Honora Schroeder, brothers, Henry, James, and Kenneth Seek, and five grandchildren, Megan and Allie Patterson, Johnna, Olivia, and Gabriel Erickson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold W. Seek Sr., brother, Harold W. Seek Jr., and grandson, Grant Allen Patterson.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Partners In Care Hospice and Trinity Lutheran Church.
