A satellite liquor store will open inside the Sunriver Marketplace store on Cottonwood Road in Sunriver, as part of a pilot program the Oregon Liquor Control Commission began in 2010.
OLCC commissioners approved the satellite store on Feb. 10, according to an agency news release.
John Audia, the agent of the current Sunriver liquor store, will also be the agent of the new one.
Audia said the satellite store should open by April 1. It will be the second in the pilot program, which is intended to help meet seasonal demands that may fluctuate in smaller communities because of tourism or other reasons, according to state rules.
