SALEM — A Portland man involved in a fatal crash on state Highway 22 near Idanha in late 2009 has been charged with manslaughter.

Oregon State Police said that 24-year-old Dorian Dolinajec was driving a sport utility vehicle that crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming car on Dec. 19. Killed in the crash was 69-year-old Robert Randis, of Terrebonne. Three other people in the car were injured, and Dolinajec was seriously injured.

Dolinajec was arraigned Tuesday in Marion County Circuit Court in Salem. He was also charged with assault and possession of a controlled substance.
