The following recalls have been announced:
• About 9,500 loungewear garments for children, manufactured in China and the United States and distributed by Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. of New York, because they don’t meet federal guidelines on flammability. No incidents have been reported. The recalled items were sold through the Warm Biscuit Bedding catalog and Web site between January 2000 and March 2009. The following recalls have been announced because the products might be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems:
• Regal Health Food International Inc. is recalling certain in-shell pistachio products . No known illnesses have been reported to date, according to the Chicago company. The recalled products were distributed nationwide from October 2008 through March 31, 2009.
The recall involves Regal Gourmet Snacks Pistachios, a 9-ounce bag of natural, in-shell, roasted and salted pistachios. The product has the UPC code 028744001190. For more information, consumers can call 773-252-1044.
• Yarnell’s Ice Cream Co. Inc. is recalling Tin Roof Sundae Pints . No illnesses have been reported, according to the Searcy, Ark., company. The recalled products were distributed in Arkansas, Mississippi and western Tennessee through direct store delivery. For more information, consumers can call 800-766-2414.
The recalled Tin Roof Sundae Pints have the UPC 70905-80128. They have one of the following codes on the bottom of the pint:
