Dr. Suzanne El-Attar

Tammy Wilson was recently hired as chief nursing officer at Mountain View Hospital in Madras. Wilson has worked at the hospital for nine years and most recently worked as manager of the medical, surgical and obstetrics departments.

Kathy McCarthy was recently hired as lab director at Mountain View Hospital in Madras. McCarthy previously held executive lab positions, including technical adviser and laboratory manager in Chinle, Ariz., and chief of the state of Montana’s Communicable Disease Control and Prevention Bureau. She also worked for St. Charles Redmond as laboratory manager.

Dr. Suzanne El-Attar was recently hired to serve a one-year term as the Madras Medical Group’s chief of staff. She earned a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is board-certified in family practice. She has been in practice at Madras Medical Group since 1997 and previously served as the medical staff chairman for the hospital’s obstetrics and home health and hospice committees.

Jo Frew and Bob Pfaendler were recently elected to serve as board members on the St. Charles Foundation Board of Directors. Frew previously served on the foundation’s special events committee and foundation board. Pfaendler owned an executive recruiting firm for nearly 20 years.

Julie Gregory, Matt Hillman and Amber Yates have been approved to serve as committee members on the St. Charles Foundation’s planned giving committee.

Physician assistant Katie Fifer recently joined the oncology department at Bend Memorial Clinic. Fifer received a national certification and a master’s degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. Fifer previously worked as a physician assistant in rural family medicine at High Desert Health Care in Prineville.
