Bend-based Clear Choice Health Plans Inc. said Friday that it and Adaptis Inc., its business process outsourcing vendor, agreed to terminate their business relationship launched last year and that Clear Choice has entered into a five-year contract for outsourcing services with The TriZetto Group Inc., an information technology and services company focused on the health care industry.

Clear Choice provides Medicaid coverage for the Oregon Health Plan and Medicare coverage in Oregon. The company also offers commercial coverage in Oregon and Medicare and commercial coverage in Montana.

TriZetto will provide claims administration, enrollment administration, billing, mailroom and business rules configuration services. TriZetto will manage and host the underlying QNXTTM enterprise administration system and related software from its data centers. The transition is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter.
