COOS BAY — Court documents say a Coos Bay teenager with severe autism accused of killing his father’s girlfriend had a history of violent outbursts. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office released a probable cause statement in its investigation of the death of 59-year-old Linda Foley. The World newspaper says the statement quotes a family friend as recalling that 18-year-old Henry Cozad became aggressive with Foley when she wouldn’t give him a soda, grabbing and shaking her.

The statement says that when deputies arrived at the family home last Thursday, they found Foley’s battered body in the doorway of her bedroom, Cozad’s blue jeans extensively stained with blood and his right knuckles freshly scraped.
