central oregon llama association hike and BBQ: Annual event will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Halligan Ranch/Juniper Lane Llamas, 9020 U.S. Highway 97 in Redmond. Activities begin with a one-mile llama hike, llamas provided by COLA, followed by a barbecue lunch and a raffle. For more information or to reserve a llama, contact Sherry Halligan at 541-420-1334.
PUPPY 101: Puppies 8 to 13 weeks old are welcome to join this class any week with its ongoing format. All weeks include socialization, confidence-building skills, playtime, handling exercises and more. Classes are from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
