LONDON Britains Tate Modern museum has replaced a nude image of 10-year-old Brooke Shields with a photograph of the actress as an adult.

The Tate closed a room housing the Spiritual America 1983 image by artist Richard Prince after a visit two weeks ago by a London police unit that deals with obscene publications.

The London museum said in a statement Wednesday that it has replaced the piece with a later version of the work made by Prince.

The new art work shows a photo of Shields in a bikini taken in 2005.
