• Colturi, Johnston win at diving’s Spring National: Purdue sophomore David Colturi and Duke freshman Abby Johnston won their first senior national titles at the Speedo USA Diving Spring National on Sunday. Colturi won the men’s 10m platform event with a score of 424.05. He then teamed with Sean Moore of Ohio State to win the synchronized men’s platform with a score of 395.28.

• Bousquet sets 50-meter freestyle record: French swimmer Frederick Bousquet has set a world record in the 50-meter freestyle, becoming the first person to break the 21-second barrier. Bousquet set the record Sunday at the French championships in Montpellier, by finishing in 20.94 seconds. He beat Australian swimmer Eamon Sullivan’s record of 21.28, set in March 2008. Alain Bernard, who broke Sullivan’s world record in the 100 freestyle Thursday, was second in 21.23.
