May 4, 1954 – August 8, 2009

Michael Joseph DuPont was born on May 4, 1954, in Del Norte Colorado to Viola M. (Duran) DuPont and George N. DuPont. He passed away on August 8, 2009, at his home in Bend.

Michael was a loving son, brother and friend, who always put other people first. All those who knew him were brightened by his cheerful attitude and personality. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.

He is survived by his two sons, Christoper and Phillip DuPont; his mother, Viola DuPont; his sisters, Charlene and husband, Tom Stockero of Bend; Mona and husband, Leonard Helm of Bend; brother, James and wife, Andrea DuPont of Cornelius N. C.; five nieces, Kerry, Shyrelle, Kelsey, Gabby and Chloe; and two nephews, Daniel and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held Monday August 24, at 10:00 am, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Bend on Franklin Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis Catholic Church.
