Tumbling Bear comes to Madras air show

Rob Harrison, known as The Tumbling Bear, will perform at the Airshow of the Cascades in Madras on Aug. 21-22. This is Harrisons fifth air show since a near fatal accident in California in 2008. He did not perform at last years air show in Madras due to his injuries, which included broken ankles, a broken hand and broken ribs.
Harrison flies a Zlin 50 and his maneuvers include gyroscopic effects created by the planes tumbling. Harrison typically hands out collection cards, washable tattoos and other items to children.
