Born February 27, 1928, in Los Angeles, CA to Douglas and Phyllis Bundy. Phyllis grew up in Santa Monica, CA. She attended the University of Colorado, where she received a Bachelors of Science, followed by a year of business college in Beverly Hills, CA. She met Daryl Robinson at Mammoth Mountain and they married in 1952. She helped him and two partners start a manufacturing company. From Santa Monica, they moved to Palos Verdes in 1964. Upon retirement, they moved to Sunriver, and after Daryl’s death Phyllis moved to Medford, OR.
Phyllis was an avid skier and loved wildlife, travel and the outdoors. While living in Sunriver, she volunteered at the Sunriver Nature Center for many years.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Leslie Veenstra (and Klaas) of Bend, and Mary Hubert (and Grard) of Lyon, France; her son, Dana Robinson (and Linda) of Portland; her nephew, Samuel Dakin of Sebastapol, CA; and five grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Donations in Phyllis’ name may be made to the Sunriver Nature Center, the Newberry Habitat for Humanity or the charity of your choice.
