Sara Ashley Baxter and Joel Wills Brandon, both of Smyrna, Tenn., plan to marry March 7 at Nashville Temple in Nashville, Tenn.

The future bride is the daughter of Thomas and Brooke Baxter, of Bend. She is a 2006 graduate of Mountain View High School, and she attends Middle Tennessee State University, where she studies nursing.

The future groom is the son of Debra Brandon, of Smyrna, and the late John Brandon Jr. He is a 2004 graduate of Smyrna High School, and he attends Middle Tennessee State University, where he studies accounting.
