- Air ambulance now called AirLink
Air Life of Oregon, a helicopter ambulance service that transports patients from accidents and between hospitals, has changed its name to AirLink Critical Care Transport. AirLink operates a helicopter and airplane based in Bend and an airplane based in La Grande. There are no changes to the service area, and people who are members of Air Life will have the same costs and benefits. The name change results from a change in the company that provides pilots and mechanics for the helicopters.
