Keith B. Gregory

Keith B. Gregory, of Alfalfa, died Monday of natural causes. He was 72.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Powell Butte Cemetery.

Mr. Gregory was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Hensler, N.D., the son of Burton and Iva (Peterson) Gregory. He married Barbara Shilley on April 27, 1957, in Tacoma, Wash.

Mr. Gregory served in the U.S. Army artillery during the Korean War. He owned a farm and worked for Jeld-Wen, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed telling jokes, dancing and spending time with friends and family. He moved to Alfalfa in 1985.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Alan, of Heppner; a daughter, Jean Landon, of Alfalfa; three brothers, Bryan, of Spanaway, Wash., Loren, of Fall City, Wash., and Don, of California; a sister, Lois Walters, of Canada; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
