A minor accident between a car and a snowplow Saturday morning on Santiam Pass closed the highway for roughly 45 minutes, according to Lt. Gregg Hastings of the Oregon State Police.

Hastings said he did not know exactly when the accident occurred. Nobody was injured, he said. Road conditions were slippery at the time of the accident, and some vehicles appeared to have problems finding traction, Hastings said. Snow flurries and slushy road conditions were reported on U.S. Highway 20 at the summit of the pass Saturday afternoon, according to the Oregon Department of Transportations Web site.
